As you can see, St. Nikolaus was accompanied by his trusty sidekick Knecht Hubrecht, who left Daniel a little gift....Elizabeth thought if she left out a big boot she would get more treats....and even Baba participated in the festivities!
Unfortunately St. Nikolaus came a day late...i guess his usual route doesn't include Utah. Nevertheless, he made a special trip out here just for Daniel.

i love the new format. and the st. nikolaus tradition. but i hate how i haven't truly seen you....and still read your blog when we live like a mile apart.
I am glad you celebrate St Nickolaus Eve. My family has done it since I was a little girl, and I always love it! Hope all is well.
